Slow Dance

Something I read today:

"Have you ever watched kids On a merry-go-round? Or listened to the rain slapping on the ground? Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight? Or gazed at the sun into the fading night? You better slow down. Don’t dance so fast. Time is short. The music won’t last.

Do you run through each day On the fly?

When you ask: How are you? Do you hear the reply?

When the day is done, do you lie in your bed with the next hundred chores running through your head? You’d better slow down.

Don’t dance so fast.

Time is short. The music won’t last.

Ever told your child, We’ll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, Not see his sorrow?

Ever lost touch, Let a good friendship die Cause you never had time To call and say, “Hi”?

You’d better slow down. Don’t dance so fast. Time is short. The music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere you miss half the fun of getting there.

When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift thrown away.

       Life is not a race.

       Do take it slower.

Hear the music before the song is over

I don't understand.....

I don’t understand how you can smile all day long but cry yourself to sleep at night. How pictures never change but the people in them do. how your best friend can become your worst enemy, or how strange it is when your worst enemy turns into your best friend. How forever turns into a few short months that you would do almost anything to get back. How you can let go of something you once said you couldn’t live without. How even though you know something is best for you, it hurts the same. How the people who once wanted to spend every second with you, think a few minutes of their time is too much to spare. How people make promises despite knowing how common it is for promises to be broken. How people can erase you from their lives just because it’s easier than working things out.

Our new reality....

I don't know if you agree, but something invisible came and put everything in its place. Suddenly the gasoline went down, pollution went down, people started to have more time. So much time that they do not know what to do with it. Parents are spending time with their kids as a family. work is no longer a priority, or traveling or social life either. Suddenly we silently see within ourselves and understand the value of the word’s "solidarity", "love", "strength", "empathy" and "faith".
In an instant we realized that we are all in the same boat; rich and poor. That the supermarket shelves are empty, and the hospitals are full. New cars and old cars also stand in the garages, simply because nobody can get out. Empty streets, less pollution, clean air, the land also breathes. The human returns to his origins. Realizing that with or without money, the important thing is to survive. Today, health is the main thing. It took 6 days for the universe to establish the social equality that was said to be impossible. At least this happened for us to realize the vulnerability of the human being.
We are not gods, we are not kings, we do not have the power of controlling everything. We are part of a whole, fragile, brittle and vulnerable something. Part of a whole something that we wanted to dominate & today is telling us:
Stop, breathe, respect. Stay Well Friends.....

Corona-virus...

Corona-virus, something that hit us suddenly. It feels like as if we are all in a horror movie. Everyone is scared. which is understandable. But what  I do not understand is why people are over reacting, by hoarding things that they don't really need. The most thing that amazes me is that, there is no toilet paper in the market anymore. I mean, why????? I am concerned about this virus for sure but not panicking. I have faith that this will end soon. We do what we have to do as a community and leave the rest to the professionals. I have been home since Friday after I came back from work, I never been home for such a long period of time. To keep my family safe I will I do it. My 5 year old son who has asthma, he's at a higher risk that if he gets this virus he will be hospitalized. I would do anything to keep him and his sisters safe and healthy. But no panicking and trying to buy things that we really don't need will not solve the problem. Just do the best you can to keep your community safe. I am a firm believer that no matter how difficult the situation is, there is always a solution. Like we learned in Physics, for every action there an equal and opposite reaction. So Corona-Virus hit us hard we will hit hard back by doing what's wright for us and our community and country. Stay home, stay safe...

Just for the sake of it…

Its only Tuesday,  it feels like a long week already... busy at work, busy at home.  My husband has been gone since Sunday. So am alone with 3 little ones, what made things worse is that I sprained my ankle on Sunday. So walking has been a challenge. Anyways, I am so looking forward to Friday. I really have nothing to say here and I know this could be the worse post I have ever made but I feel like I need to post something for the heck of it. My brain is totally toasted, so I cant think of anything to make this post any better. Sometimes things that don't make sense some how end up making sense.

Life is life.....

so it's Wednesday night and its cold, typical January night.I am thinking back 10 years ago and how things have changed since then. How priorities have changed. 10 years ago I use to think I knew it all. I don't think that I did. I don't think anyone know it all. Life is a constant change and every day you learn something new. By meeting new people, having a new job and or becoming a parent. This in itself will transform your life inside out. whatever you learned is all gone once you hold that tiny little  precious baby in your arms. Its the most beautiful feeling but the scariest feeling ever. So yes, life is something we will never ever figure out. We think we finally did but then something happens that will completely change everything we thought we knew and we have no idea, what had happened or how it happened. So I guess life is life. Live it, enjoy it, love it and hate it. life is like a combination of spices, some of them are very spicy and some are mild and sweet. So whatever life has for you enjoy it. weather its spicy or not. Always remember we only live once, so take advantage of that and enjoy the spicyness....

What music is all about?!!!!

The weather is bad today. It’s been raining all day and soon it will turn into freezing rain and possibly snow. So, what’s the best thing to do in a weather like this?! Stay at home and have hot cocoa by the fireplace and listen to music, while updating your blog. That’s exactly what am doing now. I love music. I listen to music all the time. I listen to music when I am sad, upset, stressed and happy. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favourite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn’t know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared anything with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about. Music is an important part of our life as its a way of expressing our feelings as well as emotions. Music is the best way to escape from pain of life. It plays a more important part in our life than just being a role of entertainment.... So enjoy music!!!!
